Will the 2019 Nissan Altima Have ProPILOT Assist? 

March 28, 2018, is a date many Nissan fans have marked down on their calendars, as that is the day Nissan will be showcasing their all-new 2019 Nissan Altima. While many people are speculating what kind of features and additions will be implemented on the new sedan, Nissan is staying a bit tight-lipped on the new vehicle until it’s unveiling. Out of the many fan-favorite features people want to see from the automaker, will the 2019 Nissan Altima have ProPILOT Assist?

One of the manufacturer’s newest technologies, many drivers quickly fell in love with the feature. While not widely available through the Nissan vehicle lineup just yet, ProPILOT Assist will, in fact, be made available with the 2019 Kia Altima. In fact, the all-new Altima will be just the third vehicle from Nissan to implement the feature.

What Does ProPILOT Assist do? 

For those who don’t know, ProPILOT Assist is an important feature within Nissan Intelligent Mobility. This hands-on driver-assist system even has a few functions. It is able to help drivers stay centered in their respective lanes, maintain a set speed and distance from vehicles ahead and even helps navigate stop-and-go traffic. 

ProPILOT will also be a component to help grow the future of Nissan vehicles as the automaker continues to expand upon electric and autonomous vehicle technology.
