New Additions and Changes Coming to 2020 Altima

What’s New in the 2020 Nissan Altima? 

Last year, Nissan introduced a completely new generation of the Altima. With the 2020 model making its way to dealerships nationwide in the near future, people are excited to see what’s next from Nissan. With many additions and new enhancements coming to the new Nissan, just what’s new in the 2020 Nissan Altima? 

Side view of a silver 2019 Nissan AltimaNissan is designing the Altima with the same lean and sleek style that drivers are accustomed to, along with many exciting features and upgrades to improve performance and the driving experience. For example, again the Altima will offer the available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, along with Nissan Intelligent Mobility features such as the popular ProPILOT Assist. 

For the new 2020 model year, other features such as the Nissan Safety Shield 360 will be standard on Altima SR and higher trims, although the Driver Assist Package will be offered for the standard Altima S model, making the Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology available across the entire 2020 Altima lineup.

Engine Specs in the 2020 Nissan Altima 

The 2020 Nissan Altima will also offer two distinct engine options to choose from. These include the standard 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder direct injection engine, capable of 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque, as well as a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo inline 4-cylinder engine rated at 248 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. 

Nissan also recently announced the pricing for the new sedan, which will start with an MSRP of just $24,100* for the standard Altima S model.
