What Do We Know About the 2016 Nissan Titan?

The new 2016 Nissan Titan is coming, but you probably already knew that. A lot of information has already been released about the new Titan and we are continually getting more information from Nissan’s behind-the-scenes Truckumentary series about the new Titan. So, what do we know about the 2016 Nissan Titan, exactly? We will go over some of the key points to know about the newest version of Nissan’s full-size pickup truck.

The biggest piece of information we know is that there is a brand new Nissan Titan model: the Titan XD. This will be an even more capable truck and we should be seeing it on the market even sooner than the regular Titan. In fact, the Titan XD is due to drop before the end of the year. We would put our money on November, right before the holiday season starts. Most of what we know about the Titan actually has to do with the Titan XD, so we’ll discuss some key facts about this highly-anticipated truck.
The 2016 Nissan Titan XD will be equipped with an incredibly powerful 5.0-liter Cummins V8 Turbo Diesel engine which can achieve an incredible 310 horsepower and 555 lb.-ft. of torque. There will also be at least one gas engine available for the Titan, and we should know more about other engine options closer to the release date. Another thing we know about the Nissan Titan XD is that it will be equipped with some incredible cutting-edge features and technology. Some of these features include flush-mounted LED bed lighting, NissanConnect, the Advanced Drive Assist Display, Nissan Intelligent Key with push-button start, trailer brake control, and others.
We should be getting more information and exact specifications about the 2016 Nissan Titan lineup before the XD release later this year.
