Diesel Engine TITAN to be Discontinued

Within the Nissan lineup, the customizable TITAN is among the most popular. But, is the diesel engine Nissan TITAN still available?
Recently, it was ported by The Drive and confirmed with Nissan that the 2019 Nissan TITAN XD diesel model will be the last one built with the Cummins V8 diesel engine. This means that the 2019 TITAN will be the last model to offer the diesel alternative, as the Cummins V8 diesel engine will be dropped in December 2019.

The diesel option isn’t the only TITAN model going away at the end of the year, as the regular cab versions of both the TITAN and TITAN XD is also going to be discontinued.
Nissan and Cummins formed a partnership back in 2010 to create powerful new vehicles. While the TITAN diesel may be discontinued going forward, upcoming vehicles such as the Frontier Diesel Runner project vehicle are continuing to offer a Cummins diesel engine.
