What is the Nissan IMx KURO Concept?
While there has been plenty of exciting news coming from Nissan in recent weeks, the newly-announced IMx KURO concept vehicle has been turning some heads. With the unveiling of the new crossover concept, fans were excited to learn about the new technologies coming to new Nissan vehicles. So what is the Nissan IMx KURO concept?
In order to maximize fuel efficiency, the new Nissan IMx KURO is adopting the new Nissan electric vehicle platform. With this design, the floor of the IMx KURO is completely flat and offers a low center of gravity.
The IMx KURO concept is powered by a pair of high-output electric motors with one in the front and one in the rear of the car. The new high-capacity battery also has increased energy density, allowing the electric crossover model to have a driving range of approximately 373 miles on a single charge.
Brain-to-Vehicle B2V Technology
For the IMx KURO, Nissan is doing something special with the implementation of the new Brain-to-Vehicle technology. This B2V technology is the first of its kind, as drivers can wear a device that measures brain wave activity, which is then analyzed by the vehicle’s autonomous systems. With this, these autonomous systems can turn the steering wheel or slow the car 0.2 to 0.5 seconds faster than drivers to improve reaction times behind the wheel.
