For some of the biggest car fans, automotive shows are some of the biggest events of the year. Early into 2019, drivers have seen a ton of exciting new models, concepts and technologies thanks to events such as the North American International Auto Show in Detroit or the Chicago Auto Show. Recently, the Nissan IMQ concept debuted at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Let‘s take a look at the new model!
Features and Specs of the Nissan IMQ Concept Crossover
When designing the new IMQ concept, the team at Nissan blended their Japanese heritage style with extremely advanced human-centric technology, which incorporates Nissan Intelligent Mobility features. The new concept’s highlights also include the popular Nissan V-motion grille, along with 22-inch alloy wheels with bespoke Bridgestone Connect tires. These advanced tires are even able to transmit data to the driver for things such as tire load, pressure, temperature, grip level, wear and overall tire health.
This crossover offers distinct style along with a 100 percent electric motor system developed with e-POWER technology. In fact, the new Nissan IMQ concept powertrain includes a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline with multi-motor all-wheel drive.
The new IMQ concept also showcases Nissan’s impressive Invisible-to-visible (I2V) technology. This 3D interface is developed by Nissan themselves and helps drivers see things on the road they may not see otherwise, allowing for a safer and more exciting driving experience.
