2016 Nissan Altima: Introducing the All-new SR Trim
Compared to other midsize sedans, the Nissan Altima has become one of the more athletic choices. It takes a lower, more aggressive stance compared to most and has a sporty flair found inside and out. And based on horsepower alone, it knows how to perform. The Altima comes standard with a 182-horsepower 4-cylinder engine while the next step up is a mighty 3.5L V6, capable of producing 270-horsepower.
The Nissan Altima trim ladder has been extended, adding yet another rung. In total, there are seven and the SR falls right within the middle ground. The third trim in, the SR is designed with the sport-enthused driver in mind. In addition to upgrading to 18-inch alloy wheels, it more importantly receives a sport-tuned suspension and paddle shifters so that you can take performance into your own two hands. Exterior changes to the 2016 Nissan Altima SR include daytime running lights, foglights, and a rear spoiler.
