Coupled with Nissan’s continuously variable transmission, the 2016 Rogue is able to manage an impressive fuel economy rating of 26 city/33 hwy mpg. The Kia Sportage enlists its 4-cylinder engine for the LX and EX trim, but bumps up to a more powerful 2.0L and far less efficient engine on the SX grade.
