Does the Nissan Murano have a 3rd row?

“Does the Nissan Murano have a 3rd row?” this is one of the number one questions we get about the Murano. Although it is bigger than the Rogue, which is able to seat up to seven passengers, the 2016 Murano does not offer a third row, but rather creates more than enough legroom and space for five passengers total.

If you’re considering a Nissan Murano and have any questions about it, hopefully we will cover them here, but any that we do not, be sure to drop us a comment below or send us a message.

Does the 2016 Nissan Murano have a heated steering wheel?

At the top-of-the-line, it most certainly does! The Nissan Murano Platinum has a power tilt-and-telescoping heated steering wheel as well as heated and ventilated front seats. This is in addition to the heated outside mirrors that come standard on the SL trim below.

Can the 2016 Nissan Murano Tow?

Well, the answer is yes. But can it tow very much? No. The all-new Murano isn’t designed to be a workhorse; if you’re looking for a larger SUV that is able to tow, you might want to consider something like the Pathfinder or the Armada. The Murano is equipped with a 3.6L V6 engine that enables it to tow up to 1,500 lbs.

It would be able to tow a boat, depending on the weight of the boat and the trailer combined. Always double check the weight restrictions to make sure that you don’t overwork your vehicle’s engine or put yourself in harm’s way!

Does the 2016 Nissan Murano have a sunroof?

It does offer one! The optional Premium package on the Murano SV adds a panoramic sunroof as well as an 11-speaker Bose audio system.

A step up to the SL and Platinum trims, a technology package is available which includes the panoramic sunroof as well.

What advanced safety features are available on the 2016 Nissan Murano?

The base level S model is equipped with a standard rearview camera. The next step up is the SV model which remains the same as far as safety goes, but the third step is the SL which comes with the following: blind spot warning system, rear cross-traffic alerts, and a 360-degree parking camera system.

The Platinum Murano includes all of the systems previously mentioned but also adds adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking.

If you have any further questions about the Nissan Murano, or any other vehicles within the lineup, please do not hesitate to ask. The Glendale Nissan team would be more than happy to help answer any questions you might have and encourage you to sign up for a test drive while you’re here!
