How Is Nissan Celebrating Black History Month?
Black History Month, also called African American History Month, commemorates African American history. Since 1976, it has been celebrated each February in the U.S. How is Nissan celebrating Black History Month? The Nissan brand aims to continue its mission of empowering the next generation of Black music creators by continuing the Electric Beats initiative.
Music connects, cures, and soothes. The Nissan brand understands this and has ensured that all its cars, especially the 2023 Ariya and 2023 Altima, are fitted with the Bose® Premium Audio System, providing an experience akin to a live concert. Moreover, for the Black History Month initiative, Nissan has collaborated with actor and philanthropist Jay Ellis; DJ, producer, and music educator Candice “Dope Candi” Boggerty; and producer, songwriter, and composer Olajuwon “King Fresh” Sims.
