Is the Nissan 370Z Roadster Being Discontinued? 

At this year’s North American International Auto Show, Nissan highlighted much of their strong racing and sports car heritage with new anniversary models of some classics. In this exciting display, plenty of Nissan 370Z models and Datsuns of the past got another moment in the spotlight. However, with all these exciting models being showcased, there have been some new reports about the 370Z lineup. So, is the Nissan 370Z Roadster being discontinued? 

Recently, a Nissan representative spoke on how the Nissan 370Z Roadster will be discontinued for the 2020 model year, meaning the 2019 edition will be the latest one available going forward as of now. For those wondering, this decision will not be impacting the standard Nissan 370Z Coupe model, will continue going forward. In fact, NISMO models will also continue to be available.

The Nissan 370Z Roadster has been around ever since its initial release in 2009 as a 2019 model. The Roadster variant has been sold alongside the 370Z Coupe; however, the lower sales numbers for the roadster is one of the reasons why the discontinuation decision was made.
