Engine Options in the 2019 Nissan Rogue 

There are plenty of reasons why people like the Nissan Rogue so much. Be it its stylish design, unique features, affordability or performance, it’s easy to see why the Rogue has been the manufacturer’s most popular model for many years now. However, when drivers start their car buying search, they often look for a vehicle with fantastic speed and power. So, that’s why we wanted to take a look at the various engine options in the 2019 Nissan Rogue. 

Powering the standard Rogue model is an impressive 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine. This engine is able to generate 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. The new Rogue also offers two driving modes for people to alternate between, including Eco mode and Sport mode.

For drivers looking for a little bit of extra efficiency in their vehicle, there is also a hybrid option offered with the new Rogue. The 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is equipped with a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with a 30 KW electric motor. While the engine can generate 141 horsepower, the engine and electric motor pairing allows for a hybrid system net 176 horsepower, as well as 144 lb-ft of torque.
