2019 Nissan Altima oil viscosity recommendation

Sleek, efficient and fun all in the same mid-size sedan package, it’s no surprise why the Nissan Altima – the flagship model of the Nissan family – has grown to be so legendary in America. The Altima stands as a beacon of intelligent adrenaline, a vehicle that’s equally at home in town and on the open road. But it’s only able to run the way you’d expect when it has the correct lubrication in its engine.

Today, Glendale Nissan invites you to come join us as we show you our 2019 Nissan Altima oil viscosity recommendation – having the right composition is essential to getting the performance you expect from a Nissan vehicle.

Where can you find your Nissan Altima’s recommended oil type?

You should be able to find the 2019 Altima’s oil type recommendation in your owner’s manual, but if for some reason you don’t have it or can’t find it, you can also find your preferred oil type on the cap that covers its receptacle in your vehicle’s engine.

Optimal viscosity for oil in the 2019 Nissan Altima

The 2019 Altima is one of the most common models in production, so it stands to reason that the recommended oil you should put inside would also follow suit. This is the case, as we recommend oil with a viscosity rating of SAE 5W-30, either in conventional or synthetic form. It’s one of the most common oils out there, so you should have no problem finding it!
