Perhaps you’ve heard of the Nissan Maxima SR Midnights. Black on black with 19-inch gloss black aluminum alloy wheels. With a sport-tuned suspension and a bad attitude, it doesn’t even bother to go looking for trouble, trouble finds it. BUT, not everyone is in the market for a larger sedan. Not everyone needs the extra space, wants to pay a higher price, or are looking for something quite this luxurious and powerful.

What is the Nissan Altima SR Midnight?
Compared to other midsize sedans, the Nissan Altima already takes on a lower and more aggressive stance. Its dramatic curves and functional character lines are not only what make it look sporty but also help with aerodynamics, helping it to be even more efficient.
In total, there are now eight Altima trim levels, the SR being the sportiest option. There is a 4-cylinder and V6 model available, but the main highlights of choosing the SR include the leather-wrapped steering wheel and paddle shifters. The SR Midnight is powered by Nissan’s 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with Xtronic CVT. It manages to earn 26 city/ 37 hwy mpg and produces 179 horsepower. Best of all, considering it’s such a fun-performer, its MSRP is only $25,460.
