What is the Nissan Project Basecamp Titan?

Not everyone lives in an urban environment, and when the path leaves pavement, things can get a bit tricky. It turns out your average Nissan Altima is just not made to blaze a trail over rocks, branches and other debris. Most automakers tout the durability of their SUVs, which is fine for hiking or camping trips, but what about for those who really are heading into the woods without a clear trail in sight? That’s what Project Basecamp is about. What is the Nissan Project Basecamp Titan? Let’s take a gander.

Clearly, there are some features that exist to make the Project Basecamp concept look rugged, but many of the features are added with the concept of overlanding in mind, which is a form of camping and travel that’s more intense than a typical weekend at your local state park.

You’d have to add on quite a few parts, with Nissan using more than 60 aftermarket products, to achieve these results, but what are your thoughts on this modified 2017 Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X?
