Have a little romantic getaway in an igloo
The Drake Oak Brook Hotel now has outdoor heated igloos for your date night. Now through March, they are offering four private and fully enclosed igloos with unique themes. If you are looking to have a Valentine’s Day date here, you better schedule a reservation quickly. Dine times are typically 2.5 hours so slots will go quick!
Hit the snowy hills at Blackwell Forest Preserve
Get outside and have some fun by sledding down the hills at Blackwell Forest Preserve. Tubes to rent are $10. The hill is open from 10 am until 4 pm and rentals stop at 3:30 pm. Sledding will be available Saturdays and Sundays until February 28th. Please keep in mind the hill is limited to 50 tubes at one time so try to get there a little early.
