Check out a park and have a picnic with your family

Some of the top parks in the Glendale Heights area include Siems Park, Camera Park and Ollman Park. Bring your grill and food to enjoy some fresh air and get out of the house for a bit. You can also play around by throwing a ball around or using the fields to play ball.

Go golfing

Another way to get outside is by checking out some local golf courses. One golf course to check out is the Glendale Lakes Golf Club. Nine holes are available any time Monday through Friday and after noon on the weekends. Tee Times are in a combination of 12- and 15-minute intervals. The clubhouse is closed to the public and the restrooms are not available. Make sure to plan accordingly before you go.

Eat outside at a local restaurant

Some restaurants near Glendale Heights that offer outdoor seating include the Southern Café, the Hen House of Wheaton and Dry City Brew Works.
