New 2018 Nissan Titan XD Snow Plow Prep Package

There are some things we love about winter. The crisp feeling to the air. The way everything glistens on a sunny day. The look of fresh snow. One thing we could do without? Shoveling. Especially if you have a long driveway. Which is why Nissan is now offering a new Snow Plow Prep Package for its 2018 Nissan Titan XD. Essentially, it’s a package that preps the model to equip plows made by some of the leading plow manufacturers.

What’s included with the Nissan Snow Plow Prep Package?

The Nissan Snow Prep Package, which allows the Titan XD to be equipped with plows from Boss, Fisher, Meyer, SnowEx and Western, includes high-2018 NissanTitan XD Snow Plow Package Fact Sheetcapacity, heavy-duty front springs. The high-capacity springs are more durable than stock springs, allowing the model to be outfitted with plows weighing up to 786 pounds.

This new package is available on all three TITAN XD options equipped with the V8 gasoline engine. Those who have a preference for the single, king or crew cab won’t have to choose based on their winter plans. It should be noted that it’s only available on S and SV grades for this model year.

The 2017 model year offered a Heavy Duty GAWR Package that actually offered these same high-capacity springs, so those who opted for that package can also handle the burden of heavy snow fall. Naturally, this package is not only ideal for individuals who plan to use their trucks for plowing, but also for fleet use and for business owners.

The Titan XD has long been the choice for those looking for impressive commercial options within the standard Nissan lineup. Those who do purchase the Titan XD for commercial use qualify for a $500 Nissan Uplift Allowance to help cover the cost.
