Nissan and Habitat for Humanity Help Families with Home is the Key Campaign

Over the years, Nissan has done more than just make cars. In fact, the automotive company often works together with companies all over the world that go on to help so many people. For the third year in a row, Nissan and Habitat for Humanity will help families with the Home is the Key campaign. Let’s take a look at what they have in store this year.

The Home is the Key campaign from Nissan and Habitat for Humanity is back once again to help raise awareness and support for people who need help finding affordable housing across the country. In fact, nearly 19 million households in the US need to spend more than half of their paychecks towards housing, making it difficult to afford other necessities such as transportation/vehicles, healthcare, education and more.

The partnership between Nissan and Habitat for Humanity began back in 2005 when the automaker donated $16.9 million and 150 vehicles to the cause to help build homes for people in need.

During the campaign, Nissan will be donating $5 to the cause every time the hashtag #HomeIsTheKey is shared on social media up to $250,000.
