Started back in 1996 at Pioneer Court, the Chicago Christkindlmarket was fully inspired by the popular Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany, which started all the way back in 1945. With their own unique spin on the German tradition, Christkindlmarket gives the celebration some Chicago flare as it celebrates its 23rd annual year.

People who visit during the holiday season will be able to browse through all of the stores and shop to their heart is content, as well as enjoy German food and drinks, as well as plenty of holiday entertainment everywhere you look.
