Stop procrastinating

We all have bad habits when we don’t want to do anything. Some quick tricks to stop procrastinating as much is doing things in baby steps. If you don’t want to spend two hours cleaning your house, try sweeping your kitchen while you cook or wash dishes once you’re done using a dish. All these small things end up checking off of your to-do list more than you would expect.

Get in shape

With all the holiday cookies, we may want to run a few extra miles to get them off our hips. The resolution to get in shape is one of the top New Year’s resolutions. There are quite a few gyms around Glendale Heights. Make sure to check out our other blog about where to find some of the best gyms near Glendale Heights.

Meet new people

As we get older, it may seem more difficult to make new friends. Luckily, we live in an age where it isn’t as difficult. There are apps like MeetUp or even Facebook where events are posted. You can join groups with similar interests and make friends that way.

Watch less tv

If you are looking to sit down less and not be sucked into your favorite streaming service, we suggest trying to get out of the house. Some ways can be to volunteer or checking out a new hiking trail.
