Open one hour after sunrise until sunset, the East Branch DuPage County Dog Park is now open. This park offers grassland birds, shorebirds and waterfowl to watch along with other native wildlife. The main entrance to the park is found on Glen Ellyn Road, just a quarter of a mile south of Army Trail Road. 

Walk down the Great Western Trail 

Enjoy some fresh air along an old rail trail. The Great Western Trail stretches out 17 miles. This wheelchair-accessible trail is perfect for walking, biking and horseback riding. The surface of the trail is primarily crushed stone, but some areas are paved.
