Assistant Service Manager:

Glendale Nissan in Glendale Heights is a high volume Nissan dealership and has an immediate opening for an experienced Assistant Service Manager. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong sales and display the highest commitment for customer satisfaction. We are looking for an individual with a great work ethic in our high volume fast paced Service Department. The goal of this position is to assist our customers with their service needs creating an overall positive experience while building trust and loyalty.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of scheduling service appointments
  • Listening to requests of the service desired and clearly explaining information on the repair order
  • Referring the technician to the customer and/or test-driving the vehicle to confirm source(s) of service repairs
  • Estimating the cost and time needed to do the repair, taking into account the customer’s schedule
  • Handling customer complaints and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
  • Periodically checking on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacting the customer when technicians discover additional problems
  • Obtaining customer approval to do additional work, explaining the work performed, and the charges being billed
  • Post service Follow-up

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in a new car auto dealer is required
  • Strong communication, selling techniques and customer satisfaction skills with proven CSI
  • Able to demonstrate a positive attitude
  • ADP experience is a PLUS, but not necessary
  • A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Successful drug screen is required

Glendale Nissan is looking for an Entry Level Technician to join our team during all shifts. This position(s) need to be filled right away and won't last! This candidate must have sales ability, organized, outgoing personality and motivated by money and the opportunity of advancement. As an Automotive Technician, you will utilize your vehicle maintenance expertise and customer service skills to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned and in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Great next step for current Lube Technicians.

Your specific duties as an Automotive Technician will include:

  • Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing appropriate repairs
  • Keeping your shop area neat and clean, and being able to account for dealership tools at all times
  • Road-testing vehicles to ensure quality of repair
  • Documenting work performed on back of repair order

Customer Service Representative:

Glendale Nissan in Glendale Heights is now accepting applications for a full time Customer Service Representative to join our team. Automotive experience is a plus.

Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative is directly involved in all aspects of communicating with the customer during the vehicle repair process. This position is the image and face of our business when customers first call or enter our facility. We are looking for an enthusiastic, helpful and polite individual to join our team.

Required Experience :

  • Provide great customer service to customers via telephone and in person
  • Provides customers with vehicle status information
  • May be involved scheduling rental vehicles for customers
  • Answers and directs telephone calls to the appropriate parties
  • Provides customer callbacks after the repair process
  • Communicates with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Assists estimators and managers as needed.
  • Write preliminary repair estimates for customers.
  • Performs other administrative duties, as assigned
  • Ability to multi-task in a sometimes high-stress, demanding environment
  • Maintains assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner
  • Maintains a professional and friendly appearance at all times

Qualifications:

  • Automotive experience a plus.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience handling in/outbound calls
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organization & ability to multi-task
  • Thrive in fast paced environment
  • Friendly and positive attitude

Glendale Nissan, is in search of a qualified Parts Counterman. This is a full-time position and dealership experience with the knowledge of ADP is preferred.

DESCRIPTION:

The Parts Counterman sells parts to ALL available customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.

Job Description:
