Dog parks near Glendale Heights, IL

Our little fur babies need some social interaction just like us. One of the best ways for both of you to get out of the house is to head over to a dog park. There are a few in the area and we have them listed out for you. Keep reading to find a dog park in the Glendale Heights area.

East Branch Off-leash Dog Park

You will need a valid Forest Preserve District permit but once you are in, your pooch can enjoy the unfenced, off-leash dog area inside the forest preserve area. There are a couple of ponds for them to play in. Don’t forget to explore some of the paths and enjoy the scenery.

Bark Park

The Bark Park, which is located in Carol Stream, is large and offers plenty of agility equipment to allow any dog to run out any built-up energy. A favorite of park-goers is the stick library where you can pick up and drop off sticks for your dog to play with.

Spring Avenue Dog Park

This park requires membership from the Glen Ellyn Park District ($35 for residents and $80 for non-residents) but it is well worth the money. This park is open and has wooded areas for your dog to explore. There are also disposal bags available and drinking water during the warmer months.
