What’s New in the 2019 Nissan Maxima? 

While many drivers consider sedans to be a dime a dozen, particular models truly stand out and are easily recognizable. For example, year after year, the Nissan Maxima shines with its incredible power, unique style and high-end technologies. Those waiting for the new sedan finally got a good look at the vehicle as the 2019 Maxima recently made its debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. So, what’s new in the 2019 Nissan Maxima?

Right after the sedan was revealed, drivers were instantly able to notice a few changes made to the design of the Maxima. For example, the new sedan features a new V-motion-inspired exterior, along with new wheel designs. The interior of the new Maxima was also refined and can be further customized with new Premium and Reserve Packages available for purchase. 

The 2019 Nissan Maxima comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that is able to output a whopping 300 horsepower. In fact, the Maxima also ranked first in the Large Car segment in the 2018 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study, along with ranking second among all vehicles in the study.

The 2019 Nissan Maxima also comes equipped with the Nissan Safety Shield 360, which is a suite of advanced safety technologies. These features include Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Braking.
