Free resources and trials to get you through your quarantine 

Just because you are stuck inside doesn’t mean it all has to go to waste. There are a variety of resources offered online to take advantage of. We have created a list of options you have at your fingertips. Keep reading to learn more about each.

Broadway HD 

Love musicals? Broadway HD is offering a seven-day free trial. Take advantage of seeing your favorite musicals or check out one you haven’t seen yet! 

Concerts 

For all the live music lovers out there, there is a variety of ways artists are streaming live music for you to enjoy. Here is a link to an article being updated daily of live music events going on. 

Sling TV 

This internet television service is now offering free services. This free experience is offered through their app or by logging in through internet browsers like Chrome or Safari.  

Free Ivy League online courses 

Looking to learn more while you’re stuck at home? There are over 500 free online courses to take advantage of. There are classes in categories like business, humanities, computer science, art and so much more.  

Scholastic 

Known for its bookfair, Scholastic is now offering four separate learning experiences for kids to use while they are at home.  

Glendale Heights Public Library 

Our own library has a variety of online resources to utilize. Some of this include eBooks, eAudiobooks, streaming music and movies.  

YMCA of Northwestern

DuPage County 

If you are a member at the YMCA, they are now offering online fitness classes to follow so you can stay in shape at home.
