Nissan Xterra Discontinued After 2015

Nissan has a wide-range great crossover vehicles and SUVs, but one of those vehicles has unfortunately seen its last year in the Nissan lineup. The Nissan Xterra is to be discontented after 2015 and the 2015 Nissan Xterra will be the last new model available to off-road car shoppers. Here at Glendale Nissan, we are big fans of the Xterra and we are sad to see it go. So we thought it would be a good time to say goodbye to one of our favorite off-road vehicles.

The popularity of the Xterra can probably be attributed to not only its unique design, but also its power and incredible capability for off-road driving. Few SUVs can handle as much as the Xterra, and it is too bad this is the last we will be seeing of this great model. Those looking to get their hands on an Xterra before the vehicle is discontinued can check out the 2015 Xterra which is currently available across the country, including here at Glendale Nissan.

Even though we are sad to see the Xterra go, we trust Nissan to bring us something great to take its place. Though we do not know what the automaker’s plans are currently, we like to think the Nissan Gripz crossover concept, which just debuted at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, might give us some insight into what we can possibly see in the future. In the meantime, Nissan will still have plenty of great SUVs in its lineup like the Nissan Rogue and Nissan Murano. While we will miss the Xterra, we are looking forward to seeing what is in store when it comes to Nissan SUVs.
