In recent years, the technology found in vehicles has continued to grow exponentially. With features making each drive more entertaining to various cameras and sensors helping drivers stay safe on the road, technology is now an integral part of each vehicle. At the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show this month, Nissan is planning to help drivers “see the invisible” by combining both the real and virtual worlds. How are they achieving this? Let’s take a look at the new Nissan Invisible-to-Visible technology at CES 2019.

Invisible-to-Visible technology, or I2V, is being created through Nissan Intelligent Mobility to make driving more convenient and exciting. Invisible-to-Visible technology combines information from sensors both inside and outside of the vehicle with cloud data. With this, the I2V system is able to track your vehicle’s current surroundings, as well as be able to anticipate what is ahead, such as by showing what is coming up from behind a building or around a corner.

The guidance provided by this exciting new technology is also interactive, making driving more enjoyable. With some potential hazards coming in a split-second out of the corner of your eye, this technology can bring safety to drivers like we haven’t seen before.
