Best Sports Bars in Glendale Heights IL

Right now, the teams that will be playing in the Super Bowl are still up in the air. If you’re one to root for the local team, it hardly matters what the outcome is because ours is out of the running. Which doesn’t mean you won’t watch on February 4. It just means that location is everything for those sweet, sweet commercials. Not to mention, it’s the biggest game of the year even if you don’t care much about the outcome. So what are some of the best sports bars in the Glendale Heights IL area? These are just some of our opinions.

Sports bars with the best food

What makes a sports bar so great? It isn’t just the theme or the amount of memorabilia decorating the walls. A football with the laces facing on a football fieldWe want good food, highly visible TVs and fast service. These are some of our favorite places to go when we feel like leaving our own living rooms.

Jaxx Pub and Grill

This is an all-around fun place to be, with weekly trivia nights and karaoke nights. The food is not only good, but there are daily specials, plus game day specials. We’re not sure what’s planned for the big game, but we’d be surprised if they ignored it. In addition to some of the best game day food, we love the open concept layout of Jaxx because it makes it easy to see the screens even if you aren’t able to get a seat at the bar.

Sundown Inn Pub

Not one to sit around for long hours? That’s why we like the Sundown Inn Pub, which has four pool tables for when you find yourself stressed about the game, or less interested than if, say, Chicago was actually playing. Again, we also see great drink specials and plenty of highly visible screens.

Anyway’s Pub

This one is located over in Bloomingdale, but it’s worth the trip if you prefer a place that’s a little higher class. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, but with upscale décor and a full menu of American food. It’s not the best time of year to check out the outdoor patio, but it’s worth noting.

These are just some of our favorite sports bars, but we’re sure you have your own opinions. Share them with a comment here at the Glendale Nissan Blog.
