Living in the Chicago suburbs is great because there are actually quite a few events going on in the area, so it’s easy to get into the holiday spirit. If you’re looking for 2015 Christmas and holiday events near Glendale Heights IL, check out the list below. 2015 Christmas Events Near Glendale Heights IL

Holly Days

Where: Downtown Warrenville
When: Friday December 4, 2015 6pm to 8pm

Holly Days is the quintessential holiday festival in Warrenville. From the Christmas parade to Mayor Brummel lighting the holiday tree, this is the perfect way to ring in the holiday season. Visitors can also enjoy seasonal music, take a horse-drawn carriage ride, and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies.

 

Victorian Christmas

Where: The Historic House in Glendale Heights
When: Monday December 7, 2015 6:30pm to 8:30pm

The Historic House here in Glendale Heights is ready for Christmas! People can visit the house during the event and see what Christmas was like during the Victorian era. There are refreshments for visitors and Children have the opportunity to make a Victorian-style craft to take home.

Where: The Glendale Lakes Golf Club in Glendale Heights
When: Saturday December 12, 2015 9am to 11:30am

Kids will have a great time at this year’s Breakfast with Santa. There are pancakes, sausage, coffee and other beverages for those that attend. Those who want to take a picture with Santa and Mrs. Clause can also do so at the event. So, if you’ve been good this year, come see Santa!

 

Home for the Holidays: Stories with Santa at the Fire Station

Where: Glen Ellyn Fire Station
When: Saturday December 12, 2015 from 1pm to 3pm

Another opportunity to visit with Santa, this event is the perfect way for kids to celebrate Christmas. Youngsters can let Santa know what they would like for Christmas as well as enjoy seasonal stories read by librarians and delightful caroling.

 

Jingle Bell Jamboree

Where: Naper Settlement in Naperville
When: Saturday December 19, 2015 3pm to 9pm

Naperville also has it’s very own holiday festival. The event is fun for the whole family with great Christmas music, cookie decorating, and even visits with Santa’s reindeer. Make sure the kids leave their letter for Santa Claus so he knows what they want for Christmas!
